We want to tell you more about the Stony Brook Baroque Ensemble! Strong both in technical prowess and interpretive ingenuity, they regularly tackle diverse repertoire on a variety of period instruments. Recent years have seen performances of Monteverdi's L'Orfeo, Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, Carissimi's Jephtha, the United States premiere of Cavalli's Eliogabalo, and the complete Bach concerti for multiple harpsichords. Below is their performance (with members of the Aulos Ensemble) of the first movement of Bach's Concerto for Three Harpsichords in D Minor, BWV 1063.
